  • A mix of peanut butter with margarine

To make your pine cone bird feeder, tie the pine cone to a few feet of string. You can do this by attaching the string to the pine cone and then tying it around a few sections from the top of the cone. For hanging your pine cone, make a loop.
Now place the pine cone over a piece of paper towel and using a butter knife spread the peanut butter mixture on the edges of the cone. For making the wreaths, you would need at least eight pine cones and a wire hanger, cut in half. Form the wire into a circle and wind the two ends securely together. Using duct tape, make sure that the ends are now attached to one other.
